The service and your account
Codex Skin provides curated themes for supported Codex Desktop environments.
Free and Pro
The Plugin and published Free themes are available without a Pro subscription. Pro provides access to the published Pro library, new Pro releases, compatible updates, and theme switching during an active paid period.

Pro subscription, renewal, and cancellation
Pro is regularly US$19.90 per year. During the Launch Sale its base price is US$9 per year, including each annual renewal while that subscription remains active.
Annual renewal
The subscription renews automatically each year until canceled. US$9 is the price before applicable taxes; Creem calculates and adds any tax at Checkout based on the buyer's location. The Checkout page shows the final total before you confirm payment.
Cancellation
You may cancel future renewal. Cancellation does not normally end the paid period early: Pro continues through the displayed end date, then new Pro downloads, updates, switching, and reapplication stop.

Refund requests
Refund requests are handled manually and may also be subject to mandatory consumer rights.
Seven-day request window
Email contact@codexskin.ai within seven days of the relevant payment with the account email and order number. A request is not approved automatically. We may review limited order, download, and apply records needed to understand the request.
Effect of a granted refund
A granted refund ends the refunded Pro access period and returns the account to Free permissions. New Pro downloads, updates, switching, and reapplication stop. The appearance already active on your computer is not remotely removed. Restore remains available; applying a Pro theme again after Restore requires active Pro access.

Themes, compatibility, and Restore
Theme delivery is designed to be bounded and reversible.
Theme license and use
Codex Skin grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use downloaded themes with supported Codex Desktop installations. You may not resell, redistribute, extract for a competing catalogue, bypass access controls, or misrepresent themes as your own.
Compatibility and recovery
Codex Desktop can change. A theme may be updated, temporarily blocked, or unavailable when compatibility cannot be verified. Restore remains available without network, login, active Pro access, or the Plugin cache. We do not promise that every theme works with every future Codex version.

Acceptable use and intellectual property
Use the service in a way that protects other users and the product.
Prohibited conduct
Do not attack or overload the service, probe other accounts, share credentials or device tokens, evade access or device limits, automate abusive downloads, submit unlawful material, reverse engineer private services where prohibited, or interfere with security and delivery controls.
Ownership and feedback
Codex Skin and its licensors retain rights in the website, brand, theme catalogue, artwork, and service. The public Plugin is governed by the license in its repository. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it to improve the product without an obligation to pay you.

Availability, suspension, and changes
We may maintain or change the service to protect users and compatibility.
Service changes and suspension
We may update features, providers, compatibility requirements, or theme availability. We may suspend or terminate access for fraud, abuse, security risk, nonpayment, unlawful use, or material breach. Restore is intentionally kept independent of active access.
Notices and support
We may send service notices through the website, account email, or product. Support is available at contact@codexskin.ai. Do not send secrets or private workspace content unless specifically required and safely redacted.

Disclaimers and responsibility
These provisions apply only to the extent permitted by law.
Service provided as available
Codex Skin is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, universal compatibility, or that every error can be corrected. You remain responsible for your device, projects, backups, and compliance with applicable rules.
Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Codex Skin is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.

The effective date identifies the current Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the product, pricing, providers, or law changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another reasonable channel. Continued use after the effective date means the updated Terms apply, subject to mandatory law.
